And on Friday, July 08th, 2022, is the Day of Arafah.

The Day of Arafah (in Arabic called Waqf Al-Arafa) is an Islamic holiday that falls on the 9th day of Dhu al-Hijjah of the lunar Islamic Calendar. The Day of Arafah is the second day of the pilgrimage (in Arabic is Hajj) in the holly city of Mecca. On the Day of Arafah, pilgrims gather at the mountain plain of Arafah, praying and supplicating to their Lord. Waqf Al-Arafa is the most important pillar of the Hajj. In fact, prophet Muhammad says in one Hadeeth: "The pilgrimage is Arafah."  The day that comes after the Day of Arafah is the first day of the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha.
